Well Test and Nodal Analysis
In addition to reservoir pressure determination, individual well test and Nodal analysis can be used in the design of fracture treatments, artificial lift design, the analysis of coning, flow regimes, heat transfer and temperature profiles, as well as the analysis of damage and natural fracturing. The use of Nodal analysis for ESP design, gas locking, and run life analysis is a key capability. IRT engineers have experience in the latest techniques in well test analysis by conventional means, as well as with the integrated reservoir simulators to explore fracture networks and interference in both horizontal and vertical wells.
